Nail on the head! I knew Tom well in college and I can attest that he is a truly a very honest, bright guy. We need more public servants of his intelligence, perception and intergity in these troubled times in order to resolve the problems we are now facing. Keep up the great work Senator.

Tough decision for SC which can not be dealt with in absolutes. We seem to be in a competitive marketplace where State governments have to get involved with short term incentives for what is hoped will be long term rewards. It is a tough choice for a purist but we can’t afford to be purists. We have to take it back surely and carefully and do it right this time.I applaud your dedication and your principles and realize you feel deeply about doing the right thing. I hope you keep fighting and stay true to your positions and beliefs. You are a credit to your constituents and should not be disappointed in yourself if you have to bend a little

This is not about “crony Capitlaism”. This is about Senator Davis endorsing Ron Paul through the vehicle of the Tea Party. Well that does it for me and the Tea PArty. Does that mean the Tea Party leader in SC, wants free drugs, Iran to have the bomb, cutting the military, the Middle East to go to war, the US to be Isolationist, he approved of Ron Paul’s past with his paper? Lets get real, Ron Paul has some good ideas, but he will be eaten alive by Obama and the machine. Our hope is Newt, the SC Tea Party should think about that, before it’s too late.

@Rosemary Ackerman – You’re grossly ill-informed about Dr. Paul.. Everything that you just mentioned is nothing but mainstream media smear rhetoric, and that’s exactly how I know that you haven’t bothered to look any further past the headline and study Dr. Paul’s stance or resolutions regarding the issues. I however did so, and glad that I chose to.
I’m ashamed for you, that you have the nerve to make such blatantly false statements when you know that what I’ve said is very true. I do hope that other party members will be much wiser and not simply follow your lead so blindly as you’ve done behind the rear ends of the media.
That being said, Obama and the “establishment” realize that they’d better be ready for the fight because not only is Dr. Paul “electable”, (as they very well know) but he has every American Patriot determined to stand with him. I won’t fold and hand my voice and country over as easily as you apparently are willing yourself to do and shamelessly attempt to lead others to do.

Thank you for endorsing Ron Paul. Im 61 years old and became aware of Rons views during the last election. I was watching the vote counts and in one county he had 33% of the vote, but within 30 seconds the votes were wiped down to 0%, yet all the numbers were still the same. I was in shock. I didnt think that sort of thing happened now. Since then, Ive heard the same thing from others who have more recently participated in polls. I had lost all hope of there being a decent republican left in that party. If Ron doesnt win I may leave the party because Im just shocked at what Ive learned about how our government runs things. I was laid off from work and watched the Senate all that years and read the bills because I had time to. I found out real fast how much they all lie about whats in those bills. Lots of evil hides in that clutter they are creating. My prayer is that Ron Paul can win, and work back through those unconstitutional bills and rip them up one at a time. If it has anything to do with Congress, I know that wont get done. Im just a great grandma in Barling Arkansas and I wanted to let you know I appreciate what you did.

Thank you for endorsing Congressman Paul. I admire your courage in the face of an uninformed public and irrational Republican establishment. We must politely but firmly correct people who accuse us of being “isolationist” when “non-interventionist” is accurate. There’s a big difference between isolationist North Korea, for example, and non-interventionist Switzerland. Corrupt politicians who neglect their duties to uphold the U.S. Constitution and have instead given themselves over to global ambitions have abused the American taxpayer for too long. No one is paying us be the policemen of the world. Why fall into the snare of Communist China who, as our chief foreign creditor, could one day calls the shots? Why lend support to the monstrously greedy Henry Potter’s (remember “It’s A Wonderful Life”) of the world like Mitt Romney, who has abused capitalism for enormous profit, ruining the livelihoods of simple Americans for personal gain. To clear it up. Ron Paul isn’t a fan of free anything except freedom. Drugs are all around you. Legal and non. Pakistan, India, China, Russia, and others already have “the bomb”. Should we invade all these countries? Iran’s self preservation overrides it’s hatred towards the countries that are currently and constant attacking it. Would you be annoyed if you were picked on constantly for the last 50 years and are called radical when you want to defend yourself. Ron Paul wants to cut the militarism. He doesn’t want to cut self defense. Our government has bankrupted this nation with our military adventurism. The middle east is already at war and we play a large part in that. If you are content with this nation falling further away from the principles it was founded upon….sure go ahead vote Obama, Romney, Newt, etc. If you are tired of being robbed through taxes and inflation vote Ron Paul. If you are tired of having your liberties eaten away vote Ron Paul. This will all end sooner or later. At least with Dr. Paul in charge we can steer this skidding country back to safety. Otherwise prepare for the ubrupt crash.

I have always stayed away from politics, because the whole system seemed so worthless. No matter who got elected or what party won, things were always the same with our country. But now, after listening to Dr. Ron Paul, I am getting very passionate about the direction of our country and I think that he is the ONLY candidate that will really bring about REAL change.
I just wanted to thank you for your support of Ron Paul! I have viewed many of your videos and I feel that you are a very smart and honest politician. My hat goes off to you, Tom! You are restoring my belief in the political system.
